We have chosen to support CARE, because as an all-girls school, CARE's commitment to fighting for the rights for women and girls deeply resonates with us and we hope to create a world in which both equality and equity are normal structures in place in society.
CARE seeks a world of hope, inclusion and social justice where all people live in dignity and security, and with our ball we hope to be able to support them in their efforts. They work around the globe helping with current issues and providing for those in need. Though their work they have helped 174 million people directly and 205 million people indirectly though 1,630 projects in 111 countries.
These types of benevolent acts are the type of things that we want to support and we hope to make an impact through the donations raised from this ball.
